Buying new camera-Whats your idea?

Hi All,

I'm upgrading my old 2.1 Mp to something newer, I like both 6 Mp cameras. the Canon S31S 12x opt. zoom and the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 Digital Camera 12x opt. zoom. I want to do most indoor, in a gym... cheerleading pictures. the Canon is ISO 800, the Sony is ISO 1000, the main thing I like about the canon is the SD card. Thanks! Rick

Dont know much about the Sony but the Canon's Image Stabaliztion feature is the cats meow. If there priced in the same range, go Canon.

Just don't underestimate the advantages of a live viewing screen.
I hear there's an Olympus DSLR which gets by the usual shutter mechanism obstacle by (presumably) using an automatic equivalent of a shutter lock.

Don't underestimate the advantage of a silent shutter, either.

Naturally it dsepends on your demands, but I can't help feeling the days of the occupationally squashed nose are over. I hope so.

i think the canon is the better camera but do some research and look a reviews on line
