Someone asked about this here, or on some other forum, and I can't find the thread.
So, here is a summary of the ways you can open Raw images using Photoshop and Bridge:
So, here is a summary of the ways you can open Raw images using Photoshop and Bridge:
- To open Raw images so they are hosted in ACR by Bridge, while leaving Photoshop unaffected - from Bridge, use the keyboard shortcut - Ctrl-R (Mac, Cmd-R)
- To open Raw images so they are hosted by Photoshop, bringing Photoshop to the forground while leaving Bridge Visible in the background - use Ctrl-O, Enter or Ctrl-down arrow (Mac, Option-Return or Cmd-down arrow)
- To do the above but hide Bridge - Alt-Enter or Ctrl-Alt-down arrow
- To open Raw images directly into Photoshop and bypass ACR, bring Photoshop to the foreground and leaving Bridge visible in the background - Shift-Enter or Ctrl-Shift-down arrow (Mac, Shift-Return or Cmd-Shift-down arrow)
- To do the above but hide Bridge - Alt-Shift-Enter or Ctrl-Alt-Shift-down arrow (Mac, Option-Shift-Return or Cmd-Option-Shift-down arrow.)
