1100D with 18-55mm IS Kit lens at wide angle, P mode, 1/250 @ 100 ISO (I was handholding)

B&W processing from RAW with GIMP+ufraw/dcraw.

what did you want to capture? the sky-which isn't interesting enough btw or the buildings, rooftops etc

you gave the same amount of significance to both of those. That works sometimes, but I'm afraid, not here

I agree with Maria. There are some clouds on the sky but the way you processed doesn't show them well and they get lost. This shot may have more potential with a little more processing work.
