C&C: How is the lighting in this picture?

One camera mounted Vivitar 2500 bounced from white ceiling.
ISO-200
f/1.8
1/200th

I didn't want flat light on the body, so I bounced it in the roof just above. I tried to calculate in my head which aperture would be needed by the chart back on the flash unit, but I had to open it up a little bit more to get a nice image. I don't know much of lighting, and so can't really decide whether this is good or not. I do like it, though, but that may be because this was my first ever picture with bounce flash! :)

Bounced light is not very controlable, here,s one of mine just shot with 1 light and silver reflector

Lighting seems very harsh, especially for bounce flash. It may be that it's a little overexposed, or somehow due to processing.
 
I'd say it's about 1/2 stop over-exposed; the black leatherette is much brighter than it should be.
 
Thanks. I should have noticed how the blacks on the case aren't dark enough. I don't have the unedited file, lost it :p
