Taken at the summit of one of the mountains in the Rocky Mountain National Forest.

This is my personal favorite of most of my photographs, but that may be because it's the closets thing that captured the beauty of the tundra so high up.

I'd suggest lightening the shadows some, particularly along the trees in the bottom left corner. The sky seems a bit lifeless to me as well.

The mountainside though looks great.

Thanks! I'll give that a shot! I don't know, there's just something about the photo that makes it unique to me and the shadows add to it. But I'll see!

its a great shot. i agree with Phelan. i would add that there is too much sky in your shot..

I like it...

The colors seem a bit saturated (orange lines and green are almost cartoony), and the sky is overbearing yet untextured, but the overall capture is beautiful. It's a great shot.

(I wish I was there right now.)

I agree...if the hill on the right was higher up it would reduce the impact of the sky (you're more interested in the mountain, right?). I like the colors, but the sky just keep drawing my attention to it and I miss out on most of the details on the mountain itself.
