Went to a place called Flamingo Gardens recently, didn't get any good pictures of flamingos, but I did get these:

I like these pix alot #2,#3,#4 are my favorites but #4 could be alittle more in focus.

Love #2, and #4. What did you use as the redcolor?

The red in #5 is from raindrops on the roof of a red car after it rained.

Also #1 and #4 were behind glass so it was hard to get a clear picture.

with one it is strangely soft, behind glass shouldn't effect sharpness.

was taken through glass WITH a flash.

I think 4 could do with a smaller aperture - the background is a bit distracting - could have really done with being out of focus.

It was some pretty dirty glass, and I was at 250mm with the minimum aperture of 5.6.

What you can do is pull the focus back so the forground ( which doesn't exist ) is in focus and things go out of focus just beyond your target subject. Basically would need the bracket the focus a bit.

It's good you filled the frame with the heads. I don't care for the first owl shot and your first peacock headshot is better than this one. I kinda like the second owl shot...nice DOF but I wish his head filled the frame a little more.
