Edit if you would like too I dont know what else to do with this!!! I am just frustrated because most of my pics are out of focus and I dont know what I am doing wrong!!! I read my books again tried all day I am just not happy with results idk.....

I realize this is like one of those "did you plug it in?" questions.. but ... is autofocus turned on on your camera? I see no reason why it shouldn't focus with a lit up subject dead center.

Books cannot teach you proper focus, only practice can do that.

Yeah, I see nothing in focus so I would assume your autofocus is switched off or disabled.

Definitely need to turn on that AF until you know how to manually focus. Keep trying.

I went from auto to manual, thats what I am practicing and just cant get pics in focus. Well I will just keep shooting and practicing. Thanks All.

They had a tv on the right side of my daughter thats why I cropped so tight.
