took this while at the zoo, took a while for her to take her eyes off her daughter who was too hyper to catch. what ya think? i think it is depressing

It is depressing. It's a very powerful photo. Shows exactly why zoo's shouldn't have animals caged. I'd like to see a zoo where each animal has exactly how much roaming space they need to be fully healthy in the wild. Say a lion or something, and they literally have a couple square miles or what have you as their "cage". A 30 x 30 foot cage is prison, and inhumane. Will it ever happen? Doubtful.

Nice shot. I think I'd crop it a little tighter to get rid of some of the white on the left. The eyes are great.

Personally I agree with the above comments, the eyes do say it all, but to me they say; "I pity you, thank god for the humane people who put this fence between you and me."

Then again I'm weird.
