TPF Noob!
The Bow River runs through Calgary just north of the downtown area. It was a beautiful day around the mid 20's C (70's F) for a walk along the river and to take a few pictures looking downtown.
There is a fair sized hill just north of the river. These are steps up to the top. A lot of people us them for exercise.
A great place for people and dogs.
From under the bridge which goes to Princes Island Park in the downtown area.

A bridge over the Bow into downtown.
The bridge has 2 levels, the one above for the main north south traffic and this one below for traffic to Memorial that runs beside the river. It actually doubled as a bridge in Detroit for a movie that was shot in Calgary.
