Hello everybody,
I was wondering if it is necessary to try, and calibrate the meter in your camera if you are going to be shooting negative film?
I ask this, because I read in a photography book (Shoot!) about doing so, but the person who wrote it was making references to slide film (Kodachrome). I understand that slide film has a narrower exposure latitude than print film does, and you want to have your lightmeter be as accurate as possible, but is this a necessary thing to do for print film?
Thanks,
Ed.
