These are my favorite flowers to photograph. They only seem to last a few days to a week and then they are gone. I blew off work early today to get these.
This was shot in the field just south of Spartansburg PA on Rt. 77. These grow in swamps and I sank up to my knee in mud and lost a shoe in the process
