Hello all, I am fairly new to photography and I really enoy it but I need a new camera. I got a Nikon CoolPix 2500 a year or so ago to take pictures of friends and stuff like that but I would like something more, my cousin owns a Canon Powershot Pro1 and it is very nice but a bit out of my price range so I have some experience with higher end cameras.

with the Panasonic DMC-FZ7S i really like the battery type and how you can get different lenses, but I'm not sure if I'll need those just yet.
I'm leaning towards the Olympus or Panasonic, but I would like to talk to someone who has first hand experiance with them.
I would like something with a good Panoramic setting too.
