I did a search for this and it returned nothing, so please forgive me if this has been asked before.

I see a lot of 35mm SLR cameras listed with a "QD" option. From what I can tell, this is a "date" option to add date/time to your photos. Is this information correct?

Also, I see ads for camera bodies listed as international or USA. Is there a difference between the two besides a warranty or is the price difference because of gray market goods? What's the story on these?

The QD is a date option. I never used it because it places it on the image in most cases.

Gray market goods does not mean that they are inferior to the USA product. They are both made in the same factory under the same quality control. The real difference is the warrenty. Gray market products are usually warrented by the seller. for the same duration.
