Hey guys,
I'll be up in Big Bear, CA next weekend with a group of buddies from a forum I belong to for my truck. I'll have to wait until I get there to know the exact conditions, and may need to adapt my settings. So far, this is what I am thinking...
I don't want to isolate the truck and blur out the scenery, especially since it will be with my new Nikon 12-24 that I am ordering tomorrow. On the other hand, I don't know if a closed aperture of 22 would be best either.
I am thinking of using these settings: f/8 to f/11 with an exposure compensation of -1/3 to -1/2 since it will be very sunny out. I'd like to bring out the contrast and colors.
Any thoughts or suggestions? I'll be shooting with my D300 and the 12-24 all weekend. Thanks!
