Camera strap question

Just upgraded my Nikon D7000 to th D500 - amazin'! Can anyone advise a camera strap system with quick release that doesn't need taking off to mount on a tripod? Is there a quick release bracket/adapter that fulfils both please?

I can't say that I can think many situations where I would want to carry my camera on a strap for hand-held shots and also be carrying a tripod. And I typically only use a tripod when I have a telephoto mounted and those have the mounts on the lens.

But I swear by my sun-sniper for carrying my camera.

Thanks guys - often attending airshows where I like to get grab shots of people and static aircraft than onto tele shots of planes in flight - good point about the lens mount for the tripod though.
