Some of the best (IMO) I have seen from you yet (on the HDR level).... but yes, they do appear to have some very minor tone mapping... but acceptable....

Really?
I did not really do too much to these images

mostly because of the ghosting I'd say yes.

Did you use Photomatix? Did you do Exposure fusion or Tonemapping? Straight Exposure fusion is sometimes hard to tell.. except for the obvious lack of hard shadows / fried highlights (at least if done properly, and your images match up properly). If you combine multiple exposures with the Tone Mapping option, it is almost always noticeable.

Yes I did use Photomatix and i use tonemapping.

yes. what gives it away for me, other than the ghosting, is the lack of defined light and lighting effects. In an environment like that, there will be definitive areas of light and dark that cannot be controlled without hdr processing.

I don't even DO HDR, and I thought they were HDR. Actually, I suspected the first one was, but might not have been completely sure, but on the second and third there seemed to be a little more ghosting.

I really like the result on the first one; it's nicely done, in my never-done-HDR-so-what-do-I-know opinion.

Sure lookalike HDR to me, shadows don't belong in the midtones.

I can tell, yes, but they are very good photos. Especially #3.

You can easily tell an HDR image. They are so bad or so good. Fortunately yours fall in the latter category. Rich in color, texture and detail, my guess is yours are HDR.

I say yes you can tell. The lighting in the trees in the first shot and the way you used the noise reduction.

The water in the third one looks ghosted and what bynx said the rich colors and details.

VIP and bynxThe answer is yes, these are HDR photosThe reason why I made this thread is because I did not use any filters except on 1 of themI just sharpened them that's all.
