Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello! I'm new to this forum and fairly new to photography. I'm hoping to get involved with some new communities of photographers to learn new things and get CC on my work. I love photography and would never have expected to be this involved starting in my mid thirties! Looking forward to seeing what's on the site! I'm including a photo from a birth I recently photographed to either make you want to compliment me or make you really want to help me:)

Welcome. Love the emotion conveyed in that photo. I'd try to lighten it up a little bit--the darkness makes it look grim when it's really a joyous occasion.

Great suggestion. Thanks!

Welcome Natasha,

FYI, mid 30s isn't old to be starting at all.

On this picture.
This will resonate with people who have been in the room when their child was borne but there really isn't much in the picture as a picture.
The baby is almost completely hidden, the dark blanket has a prominent place and the mother is grimacing.
Yes, it is PC to say that's the wonder of childbirth but, objectively, the picture has to show something more.

Welcome to the site.
