How do i get into the motion doing candid photography.
What gear do i need ?
Any good books on this?

Since it's candid, I don't think there is much of a technique. Try to be creative and have a fast lens to capture those unexpected moments.

What's your usual subject matter, i.e. family events, weddings, corporate events/meetings, K-12 Education, etc., and what's your budget? Are you just starting to play around, or are you trying to get "serious?"WhiskeyTango

You just need a camera and to be sneaky.

What focal lenth do i need to shoot at?

Depends on the shot you want to get. ^^
Longer focal lengths can sometimes make it easier to shoot people without them noticing though.
