Ideas for improvement? I like the idea of the image but I'm not quite sure I like my execution. B&W maybe?

I don't know if it's image compression from looking at this on dial up, but it looks out of focus.

Yeah I think there's too much black on the left side... might need some cropping.

It's a glass lamp thing for tea lights. The design is kinda wierd that the glass seems melted, maybe that's why it looks out of focus and not quite sharp. I'll play with the image more this weekend maybe.

Im going to weigh in with the way way too much black on the left. It looks as if it is going to fall from all that weight. Just my opinion there are others im sure

Perhaps would have been better to go with a large aperture and slightly longer shutter speed to capture the background on the left but only in really soft focus keeping the sharper focus on the lamp...
