canon digital rebel xt

got a chance to buy a 2 year old canon digital rebel xt with a 6ft tripod, multi disc downloader, cleaning kit and nice case for $325.00 it is in great shape (my brother-n-law owns it) and has just been proffesionally cleaned is this a good deal or should i look aound a little more

Sounds good to me. Even though it's a couple generations old (there are what- 2 or 3 newer bodies in the Rebel line? 400D, 450D; is the 1000D considered a Rebel?) it's still a fine camera.

if the 1000D is the T1i then yes it is a rebel.

And I'd say $325 for all that is a great deal.
My uncle has an XT that he let me borrow for a few weeks last summer and it was a great camera. I say go for it.
