I wondered if anyone could give me some input on a lense for my Canon 10D. I'm looking at the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. Although it's not a 2.8, i hear the image stabilizer compensates for it. I have the Tamron 28-105 2.8, but it's heavy and a bit slow to focus.

Also what about the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8. Supposedly lighter but any faster??

Any reccomendations??

thanks

Both are very good lenses. Tamron 28-75 and canon 28-135

in 28-135 IS won't compensate for subject motion though.
