canon pixma pro 100

i always say im gonna print some of my photos but ive just been to lazy to put together a group of photos to send out. to remedy this laziness, i want to buy a photo printer but i have one main concern. im looking at the canon pixma pro100 and want to know if i don't use this for months at a time will the ink dry out like regular inkjets? I hate to replace the entire ink set for $120 every time i want to print a few photos. if anyone knows or has experience on a similar printer, your advice would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Just stop waiting for the perfect picture to print some and use your ink.

I paid my Pixma Pro 100 just 89$ after the 300$ mailing rebate.

Its not the price of the printer that worries me, its the $120 for ink. My question was, will the ink dry out if I don't use it for months at a time?

So your ink hasn't been used for 4 months and it still works?
When you question yourself, it isn't to reassuring.
