Cant decide between these point and shoots

Im looking for a high grade point and shoot. These are the ones im interested in, just not sure which one...

Panasonic Lumix FX500
Canon Powershot SD990IS
Panosonic Lumix LX3
Canon G10
Nikon Coolpix P5100( Is the P6000 much better?)


Which one do you think is best image wise?

My limit is 450USD!

The Canon G series have long been one of the very best non-SLR digital cameras. That would be my choice.

That would be my choice too...G10 or a G9.

I have the FX500. Its not a bad camera, but for the price I'm not terribly impressed. It has a great lens on it, but the LCD gets streaky and is very bland, looking at other brands LCDs they are much better. The touch can be useful but isn't really necessary.

I would go with the LX3. Unless you absolutely need the zoom, this is the best camera of the bunch. Unless you have a hard on for Canon, the LX3 is a better all around camera than the G series. Better IQ, better lens (again, unless you will miss the zoom). Of course I say this only having played with them in stores and reading dpreview, but thats enough to have me convinced.

im going to buy the G10 as soon as funds come up, use it for skiing or dirt biking when an SLR would be inconvenient.
main reason is a 28mm wide angle lense, i love the wide angle.
