Canvas Ruined?

Hi All,

Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes.

Bought an unmounted canvas (~$450 - digital photo) and brought it to a local framing shop where we've had success with other photo related purchases. Our canvas had edges that were a reflection of the photo that would appear on the sides of the canvas. We went to pick it up the other day and it was off by a lot - two sides didn't line up (half the reflection wasn't shown as it wrapped around the back and the other two sides were fine) so it looks like the frame they used was too small. Now they're reordering the frame so the reflections are on the side as one expects.

Is there a chance that it can never be mounted again without there being some marks from the previous canvas mounting? Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we bough the canvas stretched or unstretched, but I'm relatively sure it was already stretched. I'm obviously concerned it will be ruined and it's a limited edition from the artist.

Thoughts?
