Nice photo, has some very strong framing! What aperture did you use?

I don't recall other than it was on an auto setting using a 75-330 zoom. Unless you are sitting on a blind and prepared for shots, wildlife shots are very spontaneous. The focused depth of field is probably near 75 feet so fairly high I would imagine in the morning light.

why did you photoshop in a bird that you hardly even notice? Also shotty PS work on the rock face as well.

thank you, and it's shoddy....... I am wildlife artist by trade so I often do setups like this as reference for my paintings. I didn't spend a lot of time on the rocks for the same reason. I was wondering if anyone would notice, since I didn't publish a very large example. Here's the original untouched version if you would like a stab at it. I think you will see why I PS it. If it is against the rules, I won't do it again.

yeah, i see the need for the work on the rocks. No need for the bird though, as cool as it is :)
