Thought I'd take one my favorite hobbys as inspiration for a photo, i was wondering if I have overblown the red though? Comments would be appreciated.

I think you could have quite a few differing opinions on the red. I, personally, really like it. It keeps the color simple and vibrant in images that, were there more colors, would be too busy.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was fairly happy with the results, after a little playing, I'm not so sure. I think this one is a little more focussed.

I like the selective coloring because if you look at the first series with the red highlighted your focus is on the hearts and diamonds, but if you look at the same picture with the blue and the yellow highlighted your focus goes to the clubs and spades!!!!!!!!!!! Nice job...In fact in the one that has the queen of clubs with the red you almost assume that she is the queen of diamond or hearts... I had you look back at it to notice that it was the queen of clubs.

This is actually the first time that I really like selective colouring. Puts a nice clean mood in it. Very nice. Like them a lot.
