I am new in the photography field, I have a a cannon rebel, KT 1500U lighting system and mainly take pictures of my own kid's and friennds. I am trying to learn how to get better color and exposure. I am currentlly reading understanding exposure. Feel free to CC these but be gentle as I'm still learning!

they all seem slightly under exposed. The first and the last pics we loose the subjects in the dark background, try adding some rim/back light to them to make them stand out from the background
