I've got a little problem.

I want to make movies in Adobe Premier, but my Finepix S5000 zoom wont let me. I record the movies with my camera, and then put them on my PC. When I try to import them into Premier it wont let me, it tells me that the compression mode is not supported. I've tried googling this and got no results.

Does anyone know of any fixes or a decompressor or anything?

I have the same problem with my videos I record off my camera. I can't import them into my video editing software. For some reason it'll only accept *.avi or whatever format a normal DV tape is.
I dunno if this is the same problem as you're having - but it sounds like it. Try looking and see what extension your movies have. Are the *.MOV? Well whatever they are - do a google search for converting it to AVI or another format that Premier accepts and then it should work.

They're .AVI files, and premier supports them as they're one of the main video file extensions. It's the compression it wont support, so I need to find a way to dissable the compression of videos, or decompress them on the PC.

Have you tried converting it to another format and seeing if that works?
