Cheap way of lighting outside for car night shots?

I was wondering if its possible to get some lighting for doing car photo shoots at night on a budget? I've been told some people use other car's headlights. I dont really have a $ figure yet but just trying to get ideas.

I've used my cell phone before.

using another car's headlights is a great way to get a poorly lit car photo.

Yes. Light painting can work extremely well. Softbox on a broomstick with a battery powered continuous lighting source in it, eg.

To me cheap lighting for cars means about $1000 to rent lights.

Get 3 or 4 of these, some appropriate extension cords and a generator if wall plugs aren't available:
