The geese left here (Cape Cod) a few days ago. I have seen other postings that birds as heading south..so watch for their stop- overs
yes, seagulls are great for practicing. Nice captures, what settings? There may be a hare of sharpening-DOF to make it better, but I am learning...and birds in flight (BIF) are difficult. Hopefully, experts will weigh in soon...

I always tell people to practice with seagulls. They are abundant, they are bright white so you can get used to exposure compensation and they fly! I spent a lot of time at the beach a year and a half ago practicing... The real fun starts when you bring some french fries and try to get close up in flight shots!
