Which looks better?

Im using just a sonycyber shot 3.2 mp..really nothing special lol.

I prefer the higher contrast second one. It still has some small things like I would burn around the chess pieces to create more of a solid black background. I would also correct the slight tilt the photo has to the right. The king has the most notable lean.

Where you going for the commercial look?

I like the first one. The peices look like the blue ice found in glaciers & stuff!

I prefer the second one... What is there in the background? Is there a smoke from the cigarette? or that's just light? Looks cool
