Anyone going to be attending the Chicago Auto Show? I plan to get there at least once, any recomendations on which lens I should take? Plan to bring my wide angle tonina 12-24.
A standard zoom lens was what I used before. Plus a fast prime for taking photos of the people at the show.
BTW, last year, I picked up some discount vouchers at the Shells gas station (in Chicago area) on the way to the show. Looks like this year, it is going to be in BP gas station.
I used the 18-55 most often because I found with the 50mm it was too difficult to get far enough away to have the whole car in the frame. People kept walking in front of me! I also brought my CPL filter, but there wasn't enough light to keep the shutter speed up. Alas, I was forced to stick with a documentary style instead...
