Child's Hand 2

Hi, I'm planning to creat a tryptich on the theme of hands or maybe on specifically a childs hand. I took a whole series of pics of my son working in his exercise book, but this is the only one i liked. All comments on this and suggestions for two more pics for my tryptich are welcome.

I think the exercise book distracts from the hand-theme. Perhaps if you cropped the image to show only the hand with the pencil it would work better.

For your tryptich you could take pictures of your sons hands while he does other things: holding a fork or spoon, a toy, something he fiddles with a lot. You could make the tryptich a "hand-portrait" of your son, by taking pictures of his hands doing things he typically and usually does. Only an idea, though.

I didn't appreciate the light (was it flash?) because is very hard, and the background, is not interesting and it`s dark. Maybe you should try these hand shots using daylight...
