I can understand why you took the photo. Must be a very nice place to visit
But sorry, it doesn't really work for me. All trees have about the same tone so that makes it a bit flat IMO, no sense of depth. Is this film or did you do a conversion from a digital photo?

It's digital. I almost never do B&W but tried it on this and kind of liked it. I do see where you could think it monotone if you hadn't seen the original. Thanks for the C&C!

I like it. I do see what jeroen is saying about the values being so similar but I also think that the different textures make it work pretty well.
