Christmas picture for locket

so, me and my gf, and a friend maybe, will HOPEFULLY go take some pictures sometime before christmas. I dont have a cam yet, but i might have to buy that pink poloroid and act like its red...

i need to know some photography tips. how would i set the cam up? what direction from the sun if its outside?? ive never done any kind of photography before, and this is a first, so i really need to know anything id need to know about it!!! please help!!!

Dunno about the camera you speak of... but have the sun to your back... and maybe be in slight shade so you don't have to squint. Morning or eveing sun is better... say cheese :mrgreen:

the cam is a pink poloroid, 7 mp, and the reason i gotta get it is cuz its the most mp for the cheapest.150$.. the other 7 mp are like 200$, and the 6mp are 150.
