Church Christmas Program

I check these pics almost daily. Beautiful available light work!

Digital/Analogue? ISO? Noise Cleaning software?

Well I appreciate that compliment. It's actually just a plain, old 10D with a 100mm f/2.0. I was able to keep the iso down to 400 and still have a faster shutter than you'd think. I can get exifs later if you want. No monopod, no Noise Ninja. Just good, old-fashioned fast glass. (The new 20Ds would have less noise than this at 1600, no lie.)

ISO400 and crispy clean?!

I struggled a lot with ISO400 and 50mm 1.4 + 10D recently. Was forced to use NN.

What shutter speeds were you using? I know the noise gets worse with time, but not sure what the threshold is.

conductor- 400 iso, f/2.0, 1/180
dancers - 400 iso, f/2.0, 1/180
single dancer - 400 iso, f/2.0, 1/180
camera man - 400 iso, f/2.0, 1/45
single man - 800 iso, f/2.8, 1/350
singer w/ group - 800 iso, f/3.5, 1/350
entire group - 400 iso, f/2.0, 1/500

Yea maybe you should try and get some money out of the church... Very good pics by the way :D I agree with the bell pic completely.

I had to underexpose in order to compensate for some bright lights. I think that might have caused the heavy noise.

But no matter what, I love primes! :)
