What do you think? C&C please

Your picture is kinda small. I would say the haloing is something that many people will hit you for from the get go. Other thing is that its a very odd size and needs more photo real estate in the image. Its cropped in way to much. The colors are not bad I think it could be better if it was bigger and showed more of the church and maybe a different angle instead of straight on. Like a worms eye view. From what I can see the textures look pretty good. I think you could bump of the white value more to bring out the clouds in the background.

Keep it up...!

Heres a few more, one of the entire church as suggested, I think they are a lil dark, not sure what do you think? thanks in advance

Yeah number 2 is a much better picture being able to see more church. I think you need to raise the black value and the adjust mistimes an white. A little more processing and that church can be a winner!

Your first shot is just a cropping of the 3rd pic. The grass is nuclear greenish yellow and the sky is really bad. Actually the whole image has a dingy dirty look to it caused by not enough Highlight Smoothing and/or your processing. That same dirty look can be seen in image 2. It stops around the bushes and gives a halo look which is something you really dont want to see if you want your image to look half way decent.

Thanks guys, I will keep on trying and use all your advice on my next attempt. Thanks again

Good luck and keep on doing it. I have problems with haloing as well in the sky and sometimes I am able to get it out. I have found a technique that seems to work but I want to test it more before I give out info. I want to be 100% on it. HDR is trial and error and it takes time to figure it all out. One thing I have learned so far is almost every picture will take on its own character in the processing which means that you can't really have one filter or preset for all pictures.
