Clip art

I am trying to design christmas cards in photoshop cs2 and cannot figure out how to insert some type of snowflake. I'm sure I can find some clip art but I'm going crazy trying to figure out how get it into cs2 and onto my background layer. Any help would be sooooo appreciated. Thanks!

Open the file in photoshop and copy and paste. It's never going to be on your background layer. Anything you paste in will be on it's own layer.
