While I would not want to find any of these in my home, ever, not even so I could take macro shots of them, as to your question: the second seems to be a bit better as we get to see the entire crawly, not only its behind.
What light did you use? Just sunlight shining in through a window? And what macro technique did you use? Do you have a dedicated macro lens? Or did you work with a reversed lens?
