I'd like to hear what ya'll have to say about these. Some were taken in the local area where I live (I'm so lucky!), some were taken from a road trip we did.

heyas...

you know sometimes i just hate other people... hehehe, not really. but i do envy them for living in areas where they've got a chance to take some real nice scenics! I'm in copenhagen denmark and there aint much in the way of natural scenics as it's one of the flattest lands around.

in any case, dig the pics. especially of the 3rd image of the water and grass in foreground. nice. would like to see that one full size and perhaps even a print...

kool stuff!

#1 Bit conflicted about this one as there is a need to capture the sense of scale but the focus of interest is lost in the generic scenery. i.e. the waterfall. The highlights are a little blown/overexposed. so EV down would be good.

#2. The absolute best of the litter. Great shot excellent composition great exposure/saturation. And just plain asthetically apealing. Nothing to nit pick on. I would deffinitly hang this in my den. With a Dark brown mat and a wide wide frame at lest 11x14. Arrg. now I got myself wanting it.

#3 Not too fond of this. Took me a little bit to figure out the perspective. Tried cropping the top 1/4 and that really threw me. I think a little lower and panned up would have helped me with the shot. But my only nit picks are subjective so I think its just me.

#4 As fairly vanilla as this shot may be I was instantly attracted by the footbridge. It caught my eye and held it. That after all is what we do this for. So I like this one. I might like it better EV down a little. The leaves and bridge detail are a little burned.

Good work and lets see some more.
