Amazing to think how long ago these were taken and yet how fresh some of them are. Colour really brings these scenes to life and looking at the people is especially interesting and a little uncanny. Thanks for sharing.
 
Yeah I was particularly taken with the shot of the Kahn. Not sure why, but it took me on a little side-trip researching those rulers and the protectorate.

This process is still the best color reproduction available IMO. There were even one-shot cameras made in the early 20th century that automated the technique. I had intended to do this when I was shooting large format, but never got around to it.
