Color PhotoShop Elements Signature-HELP

Hi!

Ok so I know how to make a black and white brush. That is easy enough. I see people with colored logo's placed on their images. I can figure out how to make one in photoshop using free clip art BUT I don't know what to save it as to retain the transparent background.......

HELP please

You can save it as a transparent gif or png

Hmmm I can't get it to work..........oh well I'll stick with black watermarks for now
