I found a little Catholic church cemetery a block or so from my apartment that had four of these angels guarding each corner.
The weather was kind of odd today, which accounts for the varied cloud coverage.

I like your second photo best in normal colours and the first very much in inverted colours - sometimes inversions seem to add to the darkside aspect of a photo, don't you think so? But if I were you, I'd selectively darken the bottom of that first negative pic to somehow diminish the aspects of it being inverted (with very dark parts becoming very bright). The sky is gorgeous in that one as it is!

The more I look at it, the more I also begin to like the inversion of Photo 2, but you would need to play with the curves a bit to darken the bright parts ... well, that is what I would do, anyway.
 
I like the second one best, good job WNK :thumbup:
 
Very cool. I really dig the second shot.
The inversion shots really have a cool effect.
