Thanks all for your comments, folks... it is not often I can produce a decent abstract... :roll:

And April, I would think they are flexible pipes to go underground for cables or so... there must be a much more boring but explanatory pic of the yard that I found while driving around, let me go look......

I did not mean to show these, for in the first you see the fence through which I had to photograph and the second is not quite so interesting... at least it is not abstract. But informative. And if only for you, April.
