Nice shot. It is what at my skill level, I would think was a Moorhen. It's not though. I know because I Googled it. Very similar though.

Yeah, unless it's an interloper from North or south America its a Moorhen.

Moorhens are generally found in Europe, Asia and Africa, John and Common Gallinules are the version of the Americas. There's not a lot of difference between them so easily mistaken but American ornithological experts made the distinction in 2011.
