Concert Photography

What are some good settings for concert photography using a film camera. I use a Minolta Maxxum 70.

You're gonna have to meter the scene, my friend.

Remember that fast shutter freezes the action, and long shutter gives you a blur effect.

That's about all we could do for you...

Oh, and if you can use some type of fill flash, that could help.

This was taken using Shutter Priority with 400 film and no flash. Im thinking i should use a flash and a slower film like 200. I'm completely new to this. Any suggestions?

Manual focus, manual everything. Fast film, fast glass, slow shutter. Film speed will be an issue, and your lens should be f/2.8 or faster. F/2.0 or 1.4 even better.
