I have a Minolta Bellows IV that I have used with a Minolta X-700 body. I have purchased a Nikon D-200 and want to adapt to this Bellows. I have not been able to find one and am considering making my own with a Minolta MD rear lens cap attached to a Nikon F mount body cap. Would appreciate any help locating an adapter or comments on my alternative plan.

I guess you could try it... but would the Nikon meter, or even allow operation of the shutter, with such a thing attached?

There are very few adapters allowing the use of other lens types on the Nikon mount (at least few compared to those for Canon and other companies). I believe it's mostly a question of spacing - there are cheap third-party adapters available, but the lenses won't focus on infinity. I don't know if you would be able to focus correctly with the bellows.
