Copyright question

Hey all,

I'm new here and looking forward to exchanging lots of good info! My first question is on copyright. Can buildings be copyrighted or trademarked? I live in Vegas and have taken lots of shots of the skyline and the different casinos and hotspots. Can I publish or sell those without permission from the casinos?

Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure about that one. For the most part, the rules usually tell us that if you take the photo from public property, then you are OK. But you still have to be mindful of registered copyright logos etc.

I would suggest that you call a lawyer in your area, there may be specific laws in your area.
