Hmmm the lighting is pretty, but I think there's too much headroom in the second one and I wouldn't shoot so close for the first one, personally!

I think you did a good job of catching nice smiles. I'd like to see more light on her face. It looks like you had some soft light, but she's facing away from it. The crop works for me in the first one, though it's a bit too wide angle. I'm not keen on the background in the second.
