couple random question

ok so i was outside Smoking( i know its bad) and was just wonder what makes me a Photographer, whether Amateur,Professional or what what kind are you or a hobbie or whatever. Well i may not use my cam like i want to. i do want to become a professional some day cuz i love when i take photographs. i do what i can with what i got. even thou ppl think this is a faze. i really don't think that i just like it so much.
1.Well the question is what kinda of photographer are you.
2. Do u keep Photos in the camera for a while or erase them fast even the one the didnt come out right?
3. A friend ask if i could do a Photo shoot of his car club, asked how much i should charge. i feel confident, but dont have the right equipment to make them worth selling. what should i do he said it wasnt gonna be until a few months. so i might have a chance to buy for example: flashes, strobes, umbrellas, ect..
one of my other friends said dont charge keep in mind im in a different car club but we all get along. he said dont charge, "what if they dont like it
? They gonna want their money back. idk any help just some things i been thinking. have more but i forgot.

what do you have now for camera, lens ??
will they be snap shots of the cars, owners with the cars, models what kind of shots are we talking about.
will you set up at each car or just walking around taking shots of them?

1.DSLR i got is a Olympus EVOLT e-520 lens is 14-42mm im guessing its a standard lens. anyways i got it for free so thats the only thing i got.
2. i think its gonna moslty just the cars a few with the owner and maybe a model
3. i would feel better to set each car rather then just walk around.

(the guy that asked said that it was going to be for his/their personal use) i dont think its gonna be so they could get a spread on a magazine.. or any of that sort
